The Greenstone Regional Skills Centre focuses on providing trades and related training for regional populations, with a dedicated emphasis on Aboriginal people, and a specific focus on preparing the workforce for employment in mining and the related sectors. The purpose of the Greenstone Regional Skills Centre is to provide a long-term solution on developing and maintaining a workforce to support mining, natural resources and related industries.

The mission of the Greenstone Regional Skills Centre is to, enrich the educational experience of individuals residing in North Western Ontario and foster lifelong learning for the entire community while working closely with partners and regional businesses.
